AJ Table Lamp | Louis Poulsen
The AJ Table Lamp emits downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.
The AJ lamps were designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu), and contributed to the total design concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel items have achieved design icon status today, and among the lighting products the AJ lamps in particular have become world renowned. Five new colour variants were introduced in connection with the 50th anniversary of the launch of the AJ family. The new colours have been carefully chosen in line with an updated Arne Jacobsen colour scheme.
Finish: White, Black, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Pale Petroleum, Aubergine, Dark Green, Midnight Blue, Rusty Red, Yellow Ochre, wet painted.
The white version is supplied with a white cable. The other versions are supplied with a black cable.
