The Penguin Rocking Chair | Ib Kofod-Larsen

During the 1950s The Penguin series of chairs designed by Danish furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen enjoyed much popularity both locally and abroad. The light and modern chairs were successfully launched in 1953 by the U.S. furniture company Selig and have been manufactured by Brdr. Petersen since 2012.

The Penguin series includes a dining chair, a low lounge chair and a rocking chair. All models feature an upholstered seat pad. The moulded back is available in oak, walnut or teak veneer or fully upholstered. The rocking chair has rockers in solid ash, natural or black stained.
