Siesta Trio Chair | Hjelle
Designed in 1965 by Ingmar Relling, the Siesta chair played an important part of the Norwegian furniture industry’s growth and international success during the Midcentury. Today the Siesta stands out as an internationally recognised Norwegian icon.
To celebrate Siesta’s 50th anniversary, Hjelle launched Siesta Trio. The Siesta Trio has three separate cushions that all together offer your body a unique comfort and extra support for your lower back. The threefold expression gives the chair a modern attitude and a playful design. The range includes a high back and low back chairs, with or without armrests, and a footstool.
Siesta Trio Colours
Siesta Trio is offered in 6 colour schemes – Beige, Pebble, Rust, Evergreen, Dark Blue, Yellow. Each preset scheme combines three distinct fabrics, one for the neck cushion, one for the back and one for the seat. The Trio footstool cushion is delivered as standard in the same fabric as the seat. For the Trio low back chair, the cushion is comprised of 2 parts only – back and seat.
In addition to the preset fabric/colour combinations, the Siesta Trio can be ordered in the Hjelle standard fabrics/leathers with all three cushions in the one upholstery type and one colour.
